Conference Board of Canada report entitled "Immigrant-Friendly Businesses" shares "Effective Practices for Attracting, Integration, and Retaining Immigrants in Canadian Workplaces." The LMIEC is one of several multi-stakeholder partnerships featured in the report.
The report finds that "immigrant-friendly programs or practices -- those that promote cultural awareness and diversity, that expand a firm's recruitment methods, that offer bridging and mentoring services to new recruits, and that recognize foreign credentials -- can have a significant impact on an organizations' bottom line."
